Where are you located?
wHERE SHOULD i PARK?
tHERE IS FREE STREET PARKING IN THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBORHOODS, THOUGH SOME STREETS ARE LIMITED TO 2 HOUR PARKING. THERE IS ALSO A PAID LOT LOCATED AT 1610 19TH aVE NEXT TO THE mOUNT zION bAPTIST cHRUCH THAT IS A SHORT WALK AWAY. tHE PRICING FOR THAT LOT IS $5 FOR 10 HOURS.
dO YOU ACCEPT WALK-INS?

If we don’t have time for you that day we can definitely set you up with an appointment.
What is your shop minimum?
Our shop minimum is $150
It does not matter how small or fast a tattoo may be, our minimum rates are set based on the cost of our premium materials and THE EXPERTISE OF our artists. Shop minimum rates are non-negotiable.
Price increases based on size, location, and complexity. More complicated placements - like ribs, hands, face, etc - will start at $200.
dO YOU do tattoo cover ups?
Yes! Do you have an old tattoo that you want reworked or covered up? We have several artists who are experienced in cover up tattoos and can help you turn a tattoo you may not be happy with into a tattoo that you love! Please note that cover up tattoos usually require more care and planning than a standard tattoo and cannot usually be done as a walk-in.
What should i do to prepare for my Appointment?
The night before get a good night’s sleep and hydrate. The day of your appointment make sure to dress in comfy clothes that allow easy access to the tattoo area, Eat a decent, protein rich meal, and drink plenty of water. Make sure to bring your ID with you!
What forms of payment do you accept?
Each Artist at Not Occult Tattoo accepts their own payments so it is best to check with your specific artist. That being said - cash is always king. there is a nearby ATM located in Uncle Ike’s pot shop
Is your shop Accessible?
Not Occult tattoo is on the second floor of an older building that, unfortunately, does not have elevator access. If you need other accommodations please contact us! Our sister shop, Studio Arcanum, is located nearby in the Fremont neighborhood and has ramp access. We would be happy to schedule your appointment there instead.
